Title: AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CREATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AREAS TO ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTY; TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY TO ISSUE BONDS TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS; TO PROVIDE THAT BONDS ISSUED BY THE COUNTY MAY BE SECURED BY A PLEDGE OF REVENUES OF A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AREA, BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS, BY TAX REVENUES OR BY ANY COMBINATION THEREOF; TO AUTHORIZE THE LEVYING, UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, OF AN AD VALOREM TAX ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AREA; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
