Title: AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO ESTABLISH AND ADMINISTER A TANF RECIPIENT BUSINESS RESOURCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TANF RECIPIENTS WHO START A BUSINESS WITH TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE; TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES SHALL REQUIRE RECIPIENTS AND APPLICANTS FOR TANF BENEFITS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT THAT WILL REQUIRE THE RECIPIENT OR APPLICANT TO PARTICIPATE IN AND USE THE TANF BUSINESS RESOURCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IF THE RECIPIENT OR APPLICANT STARTS A BUSINESS; TO AMEND SECTION 43-17-5, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY THERETO; TO AMEND SECTION 43-17-33, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT TANF RECIPIENTS DESIRING ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE TANF RECIPIENT BUSINESS RESOURCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
