Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-15-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO ALLOW THE ELIGIBLE SCHOOL EMPLOYEES OF EACH SCHOOL DISTRICT THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OUT OF THE STATE AND SCHOOL EMPLOYEES HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN; TO PROVIDE THAT SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT VOTE TO OPT OUT OF THE STATE HEALTH PLAN SHALL RECEIVE THEIR PRO RATA SHARE OF THE STATE FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR HEALTH INSURANCE FOR SCHOOL EMPLOYEES AND TO REQUIRE THOSE SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO USE SUCH FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THE SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
