Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-3-2, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO ISSUE A STANDARD LICENSE TO TEACH IN PUBLIC PREKINDERGARTEN THROUGH KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOMS TO PERSONS HOLDING A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE WITH CHILD DEVELOPMENT EMPHASIS FROM A PROGRAM ACCREDITED BY THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES, AND TO REQUIRE THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO EXTEND THE LICENSES OF CERTAIN EDUCATORS WHO HAVE COMPLETED A MASTER'S, SPECIALIST OR DOCTORATE DEGREE IN ORDER TO AFFORD SUCH EDUCATORS ADEQUATE TIME TO FULFILL NEW RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
