Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-151, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT JUVENILES CHARGED WITH MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT SHALL BE TRIED AS ADULTS AND TO REMOVE THE OFFENSE FROM THE JURISDICTION OF THE YOUTH COURT; TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-157, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROHIBIT TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION TO THE YOUTH COURT; TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-159, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY THERETO; TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-255, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT RECORDS INVOLVING MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT BY A CHILD SHALL BE PUBLIC; TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-261, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO ALLOW PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION CONCERNING A CHILD CHARGED WITH MOTOR VEHICLE LARCENY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
