Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-11-113, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT A FINDING OF TOTAL DISABILITY BY THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION WILL CREATE A REBUTTABLE PRESUMPTION OF DISABILITY UNDER THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM; TO PROVIDE THAT CLEAR AND CONVINCING EVIDENCE IS NEEDED TO OVERCOME THE PRESUMPTION; TO PROVIDE THAT ANY DETERMINATION OF DISABILITY BY THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM MUST BE SUPPORTED BY SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
