Title: AN ACT TO CREATE THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY; TO AUTHORIZE CERTAIN LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITIES TO CREATE A REGIONAL AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE FOR AND MEET THE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS NEEDS OF THE REGION; TO CREATE A BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE AUTHORITY AND PROVIDE ITS POWERS AND DUTIES; TO AUTHORIZE THE AUTHORITY TO PROMULGATE ALL REASONABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING THE OPERATION OF THE AUTHORITY, ITS FACILITIES AND SERVICES AREA; TO AUTHORIZE THE AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS AS SHALL BE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE SUFFICIENT FUNDS FOR ACHIEVING ANY OF ITS CORPORATE PURPOSES; TO EXEMPT THE AUTHORITY FROM ANY TAX OR ASSESSMENT ON ANY PROPERTY OWNED BY IT, OR UPON THE INCOME THEREFROM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
