Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-13-91, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO TRANSFER THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE MISSISSIPPI COMPULSORY SCHOOL ATTENDANCE LAW AND THE EMPLOYMENT OF SCHOOL ATTENDANCE OFFICERS FROM THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OF THE STATE, AND TO REVISE THE STATUTORY SCALE FOR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE OFFICERS; TO REPEAL SECTION 37-13-81 THROUGH 37-13-91, WHICH ESTABLISH THE OFFICE OF COMPULSORY SCHOOL ATTENDANCE ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
