Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 31-31-11 AND 31-31-29, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THE ROOM OCCUPANCY TAX IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, SHALL APPLY ONLY TO ROOMS RENTED OR LEASED ON LESS THAN A MONTHLY BASIS; TO PROVIDE THAT A PORTION OF THE AVAILS OF THE ROOM OCCUPANCY TAX AND THE INTEREST DERIVED FROM THE PROCEEDS OF BONDS UNDER THE MISSISSIPPI TELECOMMUNICATION CONFERENCE AND TRAINING CENTER ACT MAY BE EXPENDED TO DEFRAY START-UP COSTS AND EXPENSES INCIDENT TO THE OPERATION OF THE CONFERENCE AND TRAINING FACILITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
