Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-3-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY FOR HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, SHALL BE EQUAL TO THAT OF A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SUCH COUNTY; TO PROVIDE THAT THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY FOR DESOTO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, SHALL BE EQUAL TO THAT OF A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF SUCH COUNTY; TO DELETE THE OFFICE OR SECRETARIAL EXPENSE REDUCTION FROM THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY FOR MONROE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; TO PROVIDE THAT THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY FOR ATTALA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, SHALL BE EQUAL TO THE ANNUAL SALARY OF JUSTICE COURT JUDGES IN THE COUNTY OR THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE SALARY FOR THAT ATTORNEY DESIGNATED BY COUNTY POPULATION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT, WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER SALARY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
