Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-21-353, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DEFINE THE TERM "CRIME" UNDER THE CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT REPORTING STATUTE, TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO NOTIFY THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE OF SUCH REPORT WITHIN 24 HOURS AND PROVIDE THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WITH ALL INFORMATION, TO REQUIRE THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO FILE CERTAIN REPORTS OR INFORMATION WITH THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE AND WITH THE YOUTH COURT AND YOUTH COURT PROSECUTOR AND TO PROVIDE THAT ALL FINAL DISPOSITIONS OF SUCH CASES SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY OR THE COURT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
