Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 19-3-41, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT PERSONS WHOSE DELINQUENT PAYMENTS OWED TO A COUNTY ARE COLLECTED PURSUANT TO A CONTRACT EXECUTED BY THE COUNTY WITH AN ATTORNEY OR COLLECTION AGENCY SHALL OWE THE COUNTY AS PART OF THE COST OF SUCH COLLECTION A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OF THE AMOUNT OF THE DELINQUENT PAYMENT; TO EXTEND THE DATE OF REPEAL OF THE PROVISION OF LAW THAT AUTHORIZES THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ANY COUNTY TO CONTRACT WITH CONSTABLES OF THE COUNTY FOR COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT CRIMINAL FINES IMPOSED IN THE JUSTICE COURT OF THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
