Title: AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE CONSTRUCTION, ESTABLISHMENT OR OPERATION OF A COMMERCIAL HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY IN ANY COUNTY OF THIS STATE IF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY AND THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF EVERY MUNICIPALITY IN THE COUNTY HAVE ADOPTED RESOLUTIONS OPPOSING THE CONSTRUCTION, ESTABLISHMENT OR OPERATION OF THE FACILITY AND IF THE CONSTRUCTION, ESTABLISHMENT OR OPERATION OF THE FACILITY HAS BEEN DISAPPROVED IN THAT COUNTY BY THE COUNTY ELECTORATE IN AN ELECTION HELD FOR SUCH PURPOSES; TO AMEND SECTIONS 49-17-29, 17-17-151, 17-17-153, 17-17-3 AND 17-17-9, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY THERETO; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
