Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 75-76-129, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE THAT FROM AND AFTER JULY 1, 2000, 20% OF A PORTION OF THE STATE MONIES DERIVED FROM GAMING LICENSE FEES SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG COUNTIES WHERE GAMING IS NOT LEGAL OR WHERE GAMING IS LEGAL BUT NOT BEING CONDUCTED, AND AMONG MUNICIPALITIES IN SUCH COUNTIES; TO PRESCRIBE THE FORMULA BY WHICH THE AMOUNT OF THE DISTRIBUTION TO EACH COUNTY AND MUNICIPALITY SHALL BE DETERMINED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
