Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 37-19-5 AND 37-151-77, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO ESTABLISH A MAXIMUM PUPIL-TEACHER RATIO OF 12:1 FOR KINDERGARTEN AND GRADES 1, 2 AND 3 IN SCHOOL DISTRICTS FAILING TO MEET LEVEL 3 ACCREDITATION STANDARDS AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE SHALL FUND NO GREATER THAN FIFTY PERCENT OF THE ADDITIONAL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE REDUCED PUPIL-TEACHER RATIO; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
