Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 19-19-5, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO SHORTEN THE PERIOD OF TIME THAT A CONSTABLE HAS AFTER TAKING OFFICE TO SATISFACTORILY COMPLETE AN APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT CURRICULUM ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD ON LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS STANDARDS AND TRAINING; TO DELETE CERTAIN PROVISIONS THAT PERMIT A CONSTABLE TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING BY ATTENDING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE TRAINING CURRICULUM ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT HE IS PHYSICALLY ABLE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
