Title: AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SHALL ESTABLISH A PROGRAM TO PROVIDE "LORENZO'S OIL" TO CHILDREN WITH THE GENETIC DISORDER ADRENOLEUKODYSTROPHY; TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT SHALL USE STATE FUNDS TO PROVIDE THE OIL TO CHILDREN FOR WHOM MEDICAID DOES NOT REIMBURSE THE COST OF PROVIDING THE OIL; TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT TO CHARGE A SLIDING-SCALE FEE FOR PROVIDING THE OIL TO THOSE CHILDREN; TO AMEND SECTION 43-13- 117, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE FOR MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT FOR "LORENZO'S OIL"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
