Title: AN ACT TO CREATE THE MISSISSIPPI TEENAGE PREGNANCY PREVENTION COUNCIL, WHICH SHALL DEVELOP FOR THE LEGISLATURE A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO REDUCE THE TEENAGE PREGNANCY RATE AND OUT-OF-WEDLOCK BIRTHS IN MISSISSIPPI; TO PROVIDE FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF THE COUNCIL BY THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE AND THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR; TO PROVIDE THAT THE COUNCIL SHALL BE ASSIGNED TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PURPOSES; TO PROVIDE THAT MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL SHALL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; TO REQUIRE ALL STATE AGENCIES AND DEPARTMENTS TO COOPERATE WITH THE COUNCIL IN CARRYING OUT ITS PURPOSE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
