Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-43-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE ANY AGENCY THAT PROPOSES TO ADOPT, AMEND OR REPEAL ANY RULE TO SUBMIT A COPY OF THE PROPOSED RULE TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL; TO PROVIDE THAT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL SHALL REVIEW ANY SUCH PROPOSED RULE AND SHALL ISSUE HIS OPINION AS TO WHETHER THE AGENCY HAS THE CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY AUTHORITY TO ADOPT THE PROPOSED RULE; TO PROVIDE THAT A PROPOSED RULE MAY NOT BE ADOPTED IF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL FINDS THAT THE AGENCY LACKS THE AUTHORITY TO ADOPT THE RULE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
