Title: AN ACT TO CREATE A NEW SECTION TO BE CODIFIED AS SECTION 73-21-108, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE PERSONS OR BUSINESSES THAT SELL, RENT OR PROVIDE HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES TO FIRST OBTAIN A PERMIT FROM THE STATE BOARD OF PHARMACY; TO DEFINE TERMS; TO PRESCRIBE THE MAXIMUM PERMIT APPLICATION AND RENEWAL FEES; TO PROVIDE CERTAIN EXEMPTIONS FROM PERMITTING; TO PROVIDE THAT THE BOARD SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS REGARDING THE DISTRIBUTION OF HOME MEDICAL EQUIPMENT; TO CREATE A MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE BOARD; TO SPECIFY THE GROUNDS ON WHICH A PERMIT MAY BE SUSPENDED OR REVOKED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
