Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-19-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE THE SALARIES OF PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS DURING THE FOLLOWING THREE SCHOOL YEARS AND TO PROVIDE THAT A TEACHER SHALL BE REIMBURSED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE COST OF COMPLETING THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING A MASTER TEACHER CERTIFICATE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE PROCESS RESULTED IN THE AWARD OF THE CERTIFICATE; TO AMEND SECTION 37-21-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE THE SALARIES OF ASSISTANT TEACHERS DURING THE NEXT THREE SCHOOL YEARS; TO AMEND SECTION 37-19-21, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE THE MINIMUM PROGRAM ALLOTMENT FOR SUPPORTIVE SERVICES DURING THE NEXT THREE SCHOOL YEARS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
